The Mac didn't have just ports. but original games as well.
At the end of the eighties, Crystal Quest was popular. This
game was inspired by Robotron. One had to collect all
Crystals. Bungie software was responsible for Mac-legends
like Myst and Marathon. This last game was the best
Doom-clone in the early nineties, because of the many
network options. At
Macintosh Garden hosted by the
Underdogs most games created before 1996 are legally
available.
